Understand private and shared project-space sides
Verify which organization owns data and which items are actually shared with participants.

Scope rules
- Private side
- The owning organization’s scope. It contains internal items that have not been moved to the shared side.
- Shared side
- The common scope available only when the shared project is configured with eligible, accepted participating organizations.
- Share an item
- Explicitly move or expose that item on the shared side. The entire project does not automatically become visible in the same way.
Before sharing
- Confirm that the recipient organization participates in the correct project.
- Verify that the item contains no information reserved for the owning organization.
- Verify collaborator roles and the actual need to share.
- Recheck the active side immediately after saving.
Practical guidance
Private and shared information can coexist within the same project window. Read the active scope and available controls for the particular section: the right to edit private information does not automatically grant the right to publish shared information. Save and verify the result on the side where the change belongs.
Advanced tips
Before transferring information between sides, inspect the destination audience and related participants. Shared availability depends on the project’s eligibility and your permissions; adding another organization is not a reliable shortcut to enabling sharing.
