Review the three components

  1. Members

Add only people who need access to the work and remove access that is no longer needed.

  2. Instructions

Describe the objective, constraints, and conventions that all workspace conversations should follow.

  3. Documents

Add authorized reference files and remove outdated or out-of-scope versions.

  4. Verification

Confirm the workspace type, organization, and active state before saving.

Effect of access changes

Removing a member changes future access, but it does not replace your retention, archive, or review rules for content already produced. Follow your organization’s approved policy when a member leaves a mandate.

Practical guidance

Member management is permission-dependent. Owners are distinguished from other roles, and the available add, role-change and removal controls follow your capabilities. Check the resulting member list after a change rather than relying only on the submitted email address.

Advanced tips

Before adding someone, review the workspace instructions and library for material they should not receive. Membership changes and document cleanup are separate operations; removing an obsolete document does not retroactively change copies already obtained.
