Define the workspace
Choose the offered workspace type and appropriate organization.
Give it a precise name and a description explaining the shared objective.
Add persistent instructions needed by workspace conversations.
Review the context policy. Ordinary workspaces currently use memory off; selectable memory modes belong to personal projects.
Add only members who need to share this context.
Save and verify the workspace in the accessible list.
Do not confuse scopes
A workspace organizes collaboration and its context. A project space governs mandate data. A conversation retains the exchange. Associate these items when supported without assuming that they automatically share all members or documents.
Practical guidance
Choose the scope at creation; the scope selector is not generally editable for an existing workspace. Ordinary workspaces use the displayed memory-off policy. Personal projects have separate memory choices, so do not expect the same fields for every collaboration resource.
Advanced tips
Write instructions that remain valid across the intended conversations, such as terminology and review expectations. Put a single deadline or temporary assumption in its request instead. Reopen the saved workspace to confirm the final scope and instructions.
