Add files and use the right source scope
Choose among a conversation attachment, workspace library, and project document according to expected duration and sharing.

Choose the destination
- Conversation attachment
- Suits the immediate need of one chat. Check whether the conversation is saved or temporary.
- Workspace library
- Suits a set of members and conversations sharing a durable objective.
- Project document
- Suits a mandate’s governed context and must respect the project’s private or shared scope.
Prepare the file
- Use a format and size accepted by the active upload control.
- Remove pages, embedded attachments, or information unrelated to the objective.
- State in the request which part of the file to use and the expected result.
- If several versions exist, explicitly name the authoritative one.
Practical guidance
Attach the intended file version and wait for its upload state before sending the request. Name the files and the comparison or extraction you want. The interface can turn a long paste into a text attachment; review that attachment as part of the request instead of assuming all pasted text remains in the message field.
Advanced tips
For multiple revisions, give each file a distinct name and ask for differences against an explicit baseline. After the response, open its cited sources and verify that the references point to the intended revision, not simply another attachment with a similar title.
