Use available technical text and checklists
Use active items for your discipline and category without editing the governed catalog from a user procedure.
In this article
- Lists can be filtered by source discipline, target discipline, or category when the function is authorized.
- The source discipline produces the information; the target discipline uses it for its work.
- Technical text or a checklist item can enter a workflow only when active, relevant, and accessible in your context.
- Creating and governing catalog items is reserved for authorized roles and is not part of this public procedure.
- An item’s state does not mean professional verification is complete.
Practical guidance
Choose an available list that matches the discipline and purpose of the current review. Read each item as a task to verify against evidence, not as an automatically completed check. Preserve the distinction between the discipline providing information and the discipline using it, particularly when responsibility passes between contributors.
Advanced tips
For each material item, record the evidence examined, unresolved exception and reviewer in your approved review process. If an item is inapplicable, document why rather than silently treating absence of a result as completion.
