Create and manage a scheduled task
Schedule a supported request to repeat, then control recurrence, time zone, and runs.

Create the schedule
Open the conversation task settings or the Scheduled tasks area.
Describe or select the request to repeat without adding information that quickly becomes stale.
Set the recurrence, time, and displayed time zone.
Save, then confirm the calculated next run.
Control the lifecycle
- Use Run now only after verifying the current context.
- Pause a task that should temporarily stop running.
- Edit the schedule when the need or time zone changes.
- Delete an obsolete task and verify that it is absent from the active list.
- Review the last run and errors before retrying a failure.
Practical guidance
The schedule editor distinguishes a one-time run from a recurring schedule. For recurring work, select an offered pattern, its days or date, the run times and time zone. Review the schedule summary before saving, then inspect the stored next run in the task details.
Advanced tips
When changing a schedule across time zones, check the next calculated run rather than relying on the browser’s clock. Pause obsolete schedules before creating replacements, and keep the repeated request explicit about the period and result it should produce.
